ABUSEITOV KAIRAT KHUATOVICH - born in 1955, he graduated from Kazakhstan State University, History Department. Worked as a teacher in Semipalatinsk Pedagogical Institute. Graduated from Moscow State University with PhD in Historical Sciences. He was Deputy Dean of Kazakhstan State University and assistant professor of World Policy and International Affairs department of Almati Political Sciences and Management Institute. In 1992-1993 he was program leader on foreign policy and national security of Strategic research Centre at Kazakhstan Management, Economy, Forecast Institute under President of Kazakhstan. Since 1993 he has been in the service of Kazakhstan Republic Foreign Affairs Ministry. During 1996-1998 he was Adviser in the Embassy of Kazakhstan to the US. From 1998 to 1999 he served as the Director of First Department and the Director ofMulti-Lateral Cooperation Department. His last posting before London was as Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Switzerland. He was the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs before his Ambassadorships.
